Izvana jadac, iznutra još veći.
Godine 1957., zabilježeno u analima, na stadionu ondašnjeg nogometnog kluba "Jedinstvo", sagrađene su prve tribine. Drvene. Ispod njih, klupske prostorije. To je za grad bio pravi događaj. Služile tribine svrsi dugi niz godina a onda im je presudila ogulinska „zlatna mladež“. Zahvaljujući njihovu „trudu“, stare tribine 10. srpnja 1999. godine, izgorjele su do temelja a s njima i znatan dio vrijedne službene dokumentacijei arhive kluba. Rezultati istrage nikada nisu bili poznati javnosti. Dvije godine nakon toga, krenulo se s rušenjem ostataka tribina i gradnjom novoga, sportskog-poslovnog centra. Kao strateški partner, pojavio se je IGM - Tounj s nogometnim zaljubljenikom Ivanom Pađenom, što je odmah kod ogulinske oporbe, izazvalo burne reakcije. Vječiti oporbenjak Ivan Vuković, jedva je dočekalo poslasticu, što je objekt vrijedan šest milijuna kuna, dat na upravljanje NK
Ogulinu, a ovaj je poslovne prostore iznajmio IGM-u Tounj. Sve to, zborio je tada Vuković, ne bi bilo čudno, da ugovor o najmu nije potpisao za obje strane isti čovjek, predsjednik NK Ogulina i vlasnik IGM-a Tounj, Ivan Pađen. I sve to napravljeno je uz blagoslov i odluku Gradskog vijeća Ogulina. No ipak, svi su bili zadovoljni, jer Grad je dobio vrijedan,atraktivan poslovno-sportski objekt sa tribinama, svlačionicama i klupskim prostorijama. Presijecanjem vrapce otvorio ga je Niko Kranjčar, tada član mlade reprezentacije Hrvatske, koja je uveličala ovaj događaj. A povodom otvaranja poslovnog dijela novog objekta, restorana i trgovine, imali smo prilike uživati u još jednom sportskom događaju – utakmici između ogulinskihnogometnih veterana i veterana zagrebačkoga Dinama, predvođenih Zvonimirom Bobanom, s kojim je došao i teniska legenda, Goran Ivanišević. Kao pravihajdukovac, ( a hajdukovci su, nemojte se ljutiti, svi Wimbledonski pobjednici ), odbio je igrati za veterane Dinama i pojačao je redovne domaćina. A da sve bude ljepše, početni udarac izvela je tadašnja miss Universe Hrvatske, Ivana Delač.
Onda bila fešta. Svi marljivo klopali, pili fina pićenca, pa opet malo mezili neke delicije za koje nisu ni znali kako se zovu. Pa je pala i poneka „kitica“……. Sve bilo lijepo. Svi zadovoljeni, siti, razdragani. Kao u bajci. Gazda Pađen okupio jaku momčad, gledali smo dobar nogomet, sve bilo za pet. Ali, kratko je trajalo. Sada dolazi onaj čudnovat dio priče. Đole bi rekao:
„Ovo je priča bi i za suze i za smeh“.
Ali za smijeh baš nema razloga. Kola krenula nizbrdo, Pađen odustalo do posla i kluba. Prostor na katu od 300 kvadrata najprije stoji prazan duže vrijeme. Bilo je nekih ponuda ali su ljudi odbijeni visokom cijenom najma. Onda dolepršaše mladi Zadrani . Puni entuzijazma otvaraju noćni klub. Odmah je bilo čudno kako će plaćati najamninu, redare, plesačice i izvođače a raditi samo petkom i subotom. Na taj način zaraditi lovu, trebao si biti vrhunski umjetnik…….a prokazalo se da to dečki nisu. I dug za najam prostora se gomilalo a nitko ni da prstom mrdane. Mjesec, dva, tri, četiri. Love nema. Iz uprave kluba nikako da zapitaju:
"Pa dobro dečki, a gdje je lova za najam".
Da su iznajmljivali svoje privatne stanove, sigurno bi lovu izvukli na vrijeme. Ovako, pravili se ludi. I jedni i drugi. Rasulo. Lud zbunjenom radi one stvari. A klub diše na škrge. Nema love za ogromni pogon do 150 igrača.
Nema love iza dresove, kopačke, prijevoz, običnu skromnu večeru nakon teme, za lož ulje, za osnovno održavanje ogromnog prostora. Da stvar bude gora, najam ne plaćaju ni korisnici prostora u prizemlju. Ili plaćaju kako mi se prohtije. Malo bi, pa malo ne bi. Kad se dug nakupi, diži sidro i briši. I za uspomenu i dugo sjećanje, ostavi dug. Čisti raspad sistema. U Gradu, koji je klubu dao te prostore na upravljanje, o tome pojma nemaju.
Ili što je možda i gore, ako znaju - ne reagiraju. Baš fino. Tek usput podsjećam, lovu nisu dobili na lutriji. To je lova svih nas, poreznih obveznika. I onda još jedan biser. Vlasnici noćnog kluba na katu - GATE
11, pošto posao nikako nije išao, taj isti prostor nekakvom čudnom, zagonetnom transakcijom, predaju u ruke novim "majstorima", o čemu u upravi kluba, nemaju pojma. Novi gazde nastavljaju isti ugostiteljski posao. I oni rade samo dvije noći u tjednu, pa je zdravorazumski jasno, da ne mogu pokriti tekuće troškove a kamo li plaćati najamninu. I ne plaćaju je. Da li je to nekakav podnajam, nitko živ navodno ne zna a najmanje vlasnici - NK „Ogulin“.
Među igračima nezadovoljstvo ali tko njih pita. Šuti i igraj. Zabijaj golove i čkomi a uprava misli za vas. Čovjek se s pravom upita, kakvi su to ugovori o najmu koje u klubu sklapaju s korisnicima prostora. Meni neupućenome, to nije jasno: kako klub nikako ne uspijeva naplatiti ono što mu pripada. Nekako ispada da u poslovne prostore ulazi tko zaželi, da ulazi kada mu se prohtije, da tamo izvodi zahvate bez znanja vlasnika i tako unedogled. Pa onda ajmo se malo sudovati a objekt neka propada.
NK "Ogulin" trenutno ima jaku momčad i vjerovatno će u viši rang natjecanja. Gdje uostalom i pripada. Jer, neka mi bude oprošteno, igrati u ligi s županijskim klubovima iz sredina koje su često puta manje od nekih ogulinskih mjesnih odbora, baš i nije neke nogometna razina. Treća liga realna je ogulinska nogometna opcija. Naravno, jedino uz uvjet, da se u klubu okrene ploča i počne raditi na drugačiji, efikasniji način, kakobi se osigurala sredstva na normalno funcioniranje velikog nogometnog pogona. Inače klub, koji u ovom gradu djeluje od
daleke 1932. godine, ostati će u vječitom ofsajdu.

Dužan sam samo istaknuti, da ne bi bilo zabune, da trenutni korisnik prostora u prizemlju gdje je kaffe bar Snoopy, jedini redovito i pošteno podmiruje svoje obveze prema klubu te čak plaća najam unaprijed, kada je to klubu potrebno.
A sada malo sličica da ne bi mislili da kenjam bez veze. Gledajte i prepustite se uživanju.

Jedino travnjak zaslužuje prolaznu ocijenu. Izvanredna drenaža kojoj ne smeta nikakva kiša. Mnogi bi klubovi, i oni prvoligaški, mogli pozavidjeti na ovakvom terenu.
