Stoga nije čudno da se oko Bjelina stalno ispredaju razne priče. Te kupuju ga Kinezi, te imaju puna skladišta i slabo posluju, te neće ništa dalje graditi i sl. A ja, ko njihov prvi susjed, sa Skorašnika svaki dan gledam kako niču nove hale. Što se uradilo u minulih godinu dana, i što se dalje planira raditi, zapitao sam, a koga drugoga, nego prvog čovjeka Bjelina za Hrvatsku, a to je Stjepan Vojinić.
„Ovdje smo sada napravili dvije stvari koje su bile nužne za povećanje proizvodnje. Izgradili smo halu od šest tisuća kvadrata, vezanu uz postojeću zgradu tvornice parketa i još smo napravili dodatnih 3,5 tisuće kvadrata za skladište ulazne robe, sirovine. Dalje, investirali smo u novu prešu za proizvodnju tzv. riblje kosti na klik, troslojne. To ne radi nitko u svijetu, osim nas. Zatim, uložili smo u nove linije uljenja i kalibriranja i novu liniju pakiranja. To sve skupa je preduvjet da bi digli proizvodnju na 1,5 do dva milijuna kvadrata godišnje, što nam je i bio prvi cilj i prvi korak naši investicija“.
U sve spomenuto, kaže Vojinić, uloženo je nešto preko 50 milijuna kuna, a cilj im je do kraja ove, 2019. godine, završiti sve investicije u Zoni - OGULIN 1. (bivša DIP-ova Pilana). Još ih čeka dovršetak pogona za brikete i pelete, te problem vanjskog okoravanja i usitnjavanje drvne mase.
Upravo tu, kod usitnjavanja pojavljuje se problem pojačane buke koja koja smeta građanima u blizini. Kako to namjeravaju riješiti ?
„ Išli bi u zamjenu strojeva jer ovaj kojim sada radimo, stvara toliku buku koju ne možemo ničim riješiti. No to zahtjeva određeno vrijeme u kome bi napravili kompletnu pripremu za izmještanje starog stroja-drobilice i stavljanje novog stroja, koji bi buku manjio za više od pola. Time bi došli u propisane zakonske okvire buke od nekih 45 do 50 decibela. Pored toga radimo i na rješavanju velike količine sitnih čestica piljevine, što predstavlja problem za naše susjede. Kada i to učinimo, kada to zvršimo, kompletna investicija do kraja ove godine, popela bi se na preko 100 milijuna kuna. Time bi završili sve planirane investicije u Zoni 1. Da usput i spomenem, da smo od dolaska u Ogulin, od zatečenih 230 radnika, zaposlili još 110 novih, što nas posebno raduje. Sada ih imamo 337.“
Nakon završetka tih investicija u Zoni 1, planirali ste, zapravo, cilj vam je bio krenuti u Zonu 2 - Poduzetničku zonu u Otoku Oštarijskom. Tu ste najavili ulaganja od milijardu kuna. Kada tamo kreću radovi na izgradnji proizvodnih hala i kada možemo očekivati nova zapošljavanja ?.
„Velik dio pripremnih zemljanih radova na 200 tisuća kvadrata je već napravljen. U to su uložili 3-4 milijuna kuna. Cilj nam je do jeseni dobiti građevinske dozvole. Prve građevinske dozvole bi išle za veliki logistički centar i prvu tvornicu obloga Woodura. To bi krenulo ove godine a cilj nam je dovršiti do kraja 2020. godine i da prvu testnu proizvodnju očekujemo krajem iduće godune i početakom 2021. godine. I tu bi počeli sa zapošljavanjem novih radnika. Ovisno o fazama izgradnje. Do 2021. godine mogli bi zaposliti prvih 200-250 radnika.“
