SMEĆA KO U PRIČI...
I dok nam Europa onako stidljivo otvara svoja vrata, iza kojih, sam bi Bog dragi znao što nas čeka, premijerka i predsjednik razdragani i sretni potpisuju pristupni ugovor, kao povijesni čin. A mi, građani ovog komadića nebeske ljepote na zemlji, ponašamo se, kontra Europljana, kao da smo pupčanom vrpcom vezani za nekakav zaostali Balkan. /"Balkane, Balkane, Balkane moj"
O zaštiti okoliša i našim smetlištima, htjedoh prozboriti nekoliko riječi. Osim službeno/neslužbenog Sodola, Ogulin i okolica puni su divljih manjih deponija, koji iz dana u dan niču poput gljiva poslije kiše. Službeno, na području Grada Ogulina, pet je takvih odlagališta – u Drežnici, Ribarićima, Žegaru i na još dvije lokacije kojih se trenutno ne mogu sjetiti, a po arhivi baš i nemam volje nedjeljom popodne lutati. Zadržao bi se ovom prilikom samo na divljem deponiju u Žegaru. Smjestiše ga naši dragi Ogulinci, 50- ak metara od naselja. Ljeti gori i smrdi, uz klasični kućni otpad nađe se tamo i poneka strvina koju ptičurine raznose na sve strane, a vlasnici poljskih kućica, vrtova, oranica i livada u neposrednoj blizini, godinama mole gradske vlasti,da problem riješe. A vlast ko vlast – gluha i slijepa za potrebe svojih građana.
Sasvim slučajno, stupio sam pred nešto više od godinu dana u kontakt s radnicima Đurkina, koji su s gradilišta odvozili višak materijala, kopajući gradsku kanalizaciju. Zatrpali su tako oveću vrtaču u Rašću, i našli se pred problemom. Višak materijala mogli su odlagati samo u Oštarijama, što im je bilo i nezgodno i daleko a i skupo. Ugledah u tome dobru šansu, da onako „mukte“ saniramo divlji deponij u Žegaru, jer upravo su tu dečki iz Đurkina, započeli kopati novu dionicu kolektora. Od gradilišta do deponija, 300 do 400 metara. Idealno. Ja ovako mlad i naivan, prezueo sam brigu da o tome obavijestim gradonačelnika Magdića i dobijem njegovu pomoć. Jer sanaciju deponija će i onako morati platiti Grad, pa kad se je eto pokazala prilika, zašto da je ne iskoristimo, i taj posao uradimo besplatno. No tu nastadoše problemi. Kaže meni gradonačelnik da lokacija tog deponija nije gradsko zemljište i tu nemaju ingerencije. Kažem ja onako mlad i naivan štovanom gradonačelniku da ima pročelnicu koja će ga obavijestiti o vlasniku, te da se onda s njime dogovori u obostranom interesu. Opet će meni gradonačelnik, kako ne zna čije je to zemljište a opet ja onako mlad, naivan i sada već sam sebi blesev, kažem da ima predsjenika Mjesnog odbora, koji također zna vlasnika, pa neka iskoristi idealnu priliku. Još je meni nešto nemušto govorio moj dragi gradonačelnik, obećavši, valjda da me skine s vrata, da će se odmah sutra o tome pobrinjuti. No, niti je kontaktirao pročelnicu, niti je nazvao predsjednika Mjesnog odbora Žegar-Podvrh, i od tada prođe više od godinu dana. Nedam se ja, jer i meni s deponija svakodnevno smrdi i dimi, pa pozovem g. Zdravka Salopeka, znajući da je u riješavanju takvih i sličnih problema, iznimno ažuran. Nije doduše baš njegova domena, ali....... Sasluša mena Zdravko, i obeća poslati neku gospođu ili gospođicu G....... Čekam ja, čekaju susjedi ali od G. ni traga. Možda je i bila u neko nevrijeme, ali rezultat je nikakav. I dalje se redovito, svakodnevno dovozi novi materijal na očigled cijelog naselja, sada se već istovara na samu cestu. Ja ne znam da li neka gđica ili gospođa G. ili M, ili Žnj, ili kako se već zove, ima nekoga iznad sebe, ne znam da li taj kontrolira rad svojih djelatnika, ali znam da su svi dobro plaćeni od našeg novca. Pa pobogu ljudi, učinite barem nešto za tu vašu plaćicu. A ako neznate kako to na terenu izgleda, bacite oko na ovih nekoliko fotki.
