„Grad Slunj je osnivač Dječjeg vrtića Slunj i kao takav vodi brigu o najosjetljivijoj skupini našeg grada, a to su upravo naša djeca. Brigu za njih osigurat ćemo i za trajanja štrajka djelatnika te roditelji nemaju razloga da djecu ne dovode vrtić kao i svakog radnog dana“, poručuje slunjska gradonačelnica Mirjana Puškarić nakon što je Sindikat obrazovanja, medija i kulture Hrvatske, najavio početak štrajka za ponedjeljak u 7,oo sati, s obrazloženjem da je Grad Slunj za procesa mirenja odustao od potpisivanja već usuglašenog kolektivnog ugovora.
Predsjednica sindikata Božica Bilić je rekla da je cilj uskladiti plaće djelatnika u vrtiću s plaćama djelatnika u osnovnom školstvu i da je u procesu mirenja postignut kompromis po kojemu to neće biti učinjeno odmah povećavanjem koeficijenata, nego će se potpisati kolektivni ugovor, a na jesen nastaviti pregovori.
Grad Slunj je prošao kroz proces mirenja sa sindikatom, udovoljio svim zahtjevima sindikata koji su se odnosili na prvu polovicu ove godine, usvojio Odluku o načinu utvrđivanja plaća za radnike u ustanovama i udrugama koje se financiraju iz proračuna Grada Slunja kojom su povećani koeficijenti za sve radnike, ali ni u jednom trenutku nije obećao potpisati kolektivni ugovor, odgovara gradonačelnica Puškarić.
